Dana Floods

If you know Dana then you know the struggle of trying to get walk up the stairs with a literal waterfall pushing you back. Sometimes I feel like a salmon trying to swim upstream! Multiple people have complained about their socks getting wet and I think that this is a HUGE problem. Let’s talk to some students.
Anonymous student #1 states that they got to school late and there was a puddle by the stairs that they accidentally stepped in. In the end, their socks got wet from the puddle. Anonymous student #2 had a similar experience but they got to school on time, “The water sunk into my shoes and that’s how my socks got wet,” -Anonymous student #2. Anonymous student #3 states that their socks get wet after stepping in a puddle that blocked their way they also said that they later stepped into a pothole filled with water!
In conclusion, rainy weather at Dana middle school is no joke. There are puddles, lakes, and literal oceans blocking our way to class. You might ask why we have this issue. I would say that the most important thing to know is that out school was built a long time ago and we are a big school built on a hill. As a reminder, when there is rain in the forecast, come prepared! No one likes walking in soggy socks!
