Pasta is so good, I mean everyone likes it but usually you buy it from the store and put it in boiling water. Today I will show you how to make fresh pasta from scratch and it’s easy.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ teaspoon salt

1 First, get your flour and pour it into a mountain shape on a clean table. Add your salt in and mix it up. Makes a little hole in the middle about 2 inches by 2 inches. Then crack your eggs and pour them into the hole. Whisk the eggs with a fork pulling flour out by the bottom, and continue until soft dough forms. Gently fold the pasta like paper until it’s firm enough to knead. Kneading is like pushing the dough down, folding it in half, and then repeating that. Add flour to prevent it from sticking everywhere. Your dough will be done when it is firm and elastic also cut into it and make sure there a no air bubbles once you have done that we will move on to step 2.

 

2 Put the dough into a bowl and put a plate on it rest it for 30 minutes. Sprinkle flour into a baking sheet and put your dough on there. Lightly rub with flour, and cut into four equal pieces. Get out a wooden dough roller and roll until desired thickness. Then start cutting the dough into 12 by 6 inch wide rectangles after that cut the rectangles into 20 noodles. After you have cut all the rectangles toss the noodles on a baking sheet with flour. Cook immediately in a pan or dry freeze. Enjoy!

 

Eggs there are so many types and ways to cook them but one of my favorites is hard boiling them and it’s effortless

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • Water
  • ice

1 Place eggs in an empty medium saucepan and cover with 1 inch of water. Heat the pan over high heat. Meanwhile, make an ice bath in a bowl. Bring water to a rolling boil with the pan uncovered. After covering the pan and let it sit for desired time.

  • Runny soft-boiled 3 min
  • Slightly runny soft-boiled 4 min 
  • Custardy yet firm soft-boiled 6 min
  • Frozen yet creamy hard-boiled 10 min
  • Very firm hard boiled 15 min

Remove the eggs with a spoon and gently tap the egg on the counter. Then put the eggs in an ice bath for 1 minute. Peel off the shells cut them in half, and sprinkle with desired spices. enjoy!
