The Egg Baby Project
You might have heard some seventh graders complaining about this project called the “Egg Baby Project”. Well if you don’t know what that project is then this is the article for you.
If you didn’t know the egg baby project is a simulation of having a baby in real life. So like you have a pretend job and get a monthly salary to pay rent and things like a bus pass or diapers. This project only lasts for about a month and is to prepare for real life.
When the project first starts everyone is paired with a partner and pulls their job out of a bag. You also get the number of babies you will have from a wheel, you can have 1, 2, or 3 babies. You can also get more babies from the event box. If you are wondering what the event box is, it is a box that you pull a piece of paper from every month (more like a day but it is a pretend month). The second thing you do is make egg babies. Soo to make the egg babies you have to create a hole at the top and bottom of the egg and blow on the top hole to remove the yolk and whites of the egg. Then you draw a face on the egg, now you have a baby.
The next thing you need to do is not as much fun, because you have to do rent, bills, and other expenses. But to do your rent you first have to find an affordable place to live. Or if your parents/guardian agree you can live with them for free or help with the bills. Other expenses are another thing that you have to pay for. Other expenses are things like car insurance, phone bills, and baby products that you need like diapers and baby food.
Now that you know all about the egg baby project, do you want to know how your life will plan out?
