How to Know Which Age is Too Old To Trick or Treat

We all love trick-or-treating, but when is it time to stop? Well, you’ve come to the right place! But first, let’s start with some history. Halloween originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. The name for Halloween started as All Hallows Eve. Pope Gregory III designated November 1 a time to honor all saints in the eighth century. Soon, All Saints Day incorporated some of the traditions of Samhain. On the night of October 31, they celebrated Samhain when it stood a belief that the ghosts of the dead returned to earth. In addition to causing trouble and damaging crops, Celts thought that the presence of the otherworldly spirits made it easier for the Druids or Celtic priests to make predictions. Furthermore, created the representation of Halloween was formed.

Now that we’re all caught up with Halloween’s history let’s see How Old is TOO Old TO Trick-or-Treat. I have gathered my information by asking students to fill out a Google Form and asking them multiple-choice questions about when they should stop Trick-or-Treating. These two students named, Courtney Avila and Malachi Fernandez, stated that you should stop Trick-or-Treating at the age of 7-10. While other students said at the age of 11-13, you should stop Trick-or-treating. In addition, your peers’ responses claimed to say you should stop Trick-or-Treating at the ages of 13-16 and 17-19.

To support their answer, they gave detailed information on why you should stop at ages 13-16 and 17-19. First, they stated that at 17-19, you should go to parties, hang out with friends/family, or go to scary amusement parks. For this reason, you shouldn’t knock on someone’s door Trick-or-Treating for candy because you’re too “COOL,” and it seems lame. Last, many students suggested that you should NEVER STOP TRICK-OR-TREATING. More than half of the students agreed that you should NEVER STOP TRICK-OR-TREATING because you can have fun, wear silly costumes, and get FREE! FREE! CANDY! Also, your peers say that people might think they are too young to do a specific event, but you are always young enough to celebrate something in life.

Now that we covered How old is TOO old to Trick-or-Treat let’s get into some other information about Halloween.
